My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry,
Here’s your Prayer for Today
Please,
slow down
Dear Lord,
Teach me to listen with an open heart and a quiet mind.
Help me to pause before I speak, that my words may be gentle and full of grace.
Help me be slow to anger, fill me with patience,
that I may reflect your peace in every conversation.
Let your Spirit guide my reactions,
So that I may be a vessel of understanding, not conflict.
In moments of tension, grant me wisdom on how to handle it.
Shape me into someone who listens with love, speaks with care, and responds with peace.
Amen.
