Dear God,
We come to you today, anchoring our hearts in the beautiful promise of your Word. Lord, we ask that you show us the path of life. In the midst of life’s many choices and confusions, let your light shine clearly before us. Guide our steps on the road you have ordained for us, so that we may walk in your will and fulfill your purpose. Keep our feet from wandering and our hearts from straying away from your truth.
Guide us to seek your face above all else, for we know that in your presence there is fullness of joy. Help us not to settle for the fleeting happiness the world offers, but to find our true, complete, and satisfying joy in deep fellowship with you.
May your presence be our daily dwelling place. Fill our hearts with eternal hope, knowing that at your right hand there are pleasures forevermore. May this promise of everlasting delight with you guard our hearts from discouragement and inspire us to live faithfully in the present, while looking forward to the glorious future you have prepared for those who love you. Lead us, O Lord, in your perfect way.
