To End All Wars
Psalm 46:9 (KJV) – He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth
God’s overarching authority, is not confined to any particular area or group; His influence reaches “to the ends of the earth.”. The phrase “Maketh wars to cease” suggests that God intervenes actively. He doesn’t simply watch conflicts unfold; instead, He takes action to bring about their resolution. This serves as a message of hope. In a world frequently marred by violence, this verse reassures us that enduring peace can be achieved through divine intervention—a declaration of hope. Here’s your prayer for today:
Dear Lord, we are grateful for your desire to give us a peaceful world. We pray for the peace of God to stay in our hearts and in the world. We pray for an end to wars that are being used to destroy humanity. May you Lord come to the rescue of your children caught in conflict zones and help them in turn be catalysts for peace and change. We thank you for an answered prayer, Amen.
