He knows
Isaiah 40:13-14
Who has directed the Spirit of the LORD,
Or as His counselor has taught Him?
With whom did He take counsel, and who instructed Him,
And taught Him in the path of justice?
Who taught Him knowledge,
And showed Him the way of understanding?
The Lord knows
One very interesting thing about the God we serve is his all knowing nature. We understand to mean that God is unlimited in His knowledge of everything, past, present, and future. He is in himself the embodiment of all knowledge, knows what is true and the very essence of truth. He was there before time began and He will be there when the end comes. He knows your very being, the number of hairs on your head, every tiny little fear; every desire, tear and hope; every prayer and unfailing faith, he knows. Before we even speak it he knows it.
This is very reassuring, in the sense that this piece of information about the God we serve gives us boldness to stay and abide with him. May we be strengthened with this knowledge about God.
Here’s your Prayer for Today
Oh Lord our God,
We thank you for knowing it all. With you we will not fail in anything. You will reveal all things to us and lead us on the right path. You don’t need anyone to teach you anything. Our omniscient God reigns. We are secure with this knowledge and thank you in Jesus name, Amen.
