The Grain that Dies
John 12:24 (AMP)
I assure you and most solemnly say to you,
unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies,
it remains alone [just one grain, never more].
But if it dies, it produces much grain
and yields a harvest.
Here’s Your Prayer for Today
Dear Lord,
Your Word for today teaches that unless we yield ourselves completely to you to work in us, we cannot give fruit that bears your nature. We ask for grace to surrender our will, our pride, and our comfort, and any other self-fulfilling desires that block your Spirit from working in us so that your life may grow within us. Help us die to selfish ambition and worldly desires and bear fruit that glorifies you. We pray this in Jesus’ name,
