There is something incredibly beautiful about how our God could endure a brutal death on the cross, be buried, and then rise again, appearing to His followers.
Imagine the scene when He appears to His disciples. How would you have felt if you suddenly saw this lover of your soul, who was meant to be dead, alive again?
Today, rejoice and be glad! We celebrate Easter every year to keep close to our hearts the amazing work our lover, Christ Jesus did for us. Enjoy the celebration!

Our most gracious and loving Father,
We are pleased to be your children. We are grateful for the finished work of Christ on the cross and for His indisputable resurrection. Thank you for redeeming mankind. Thank you for loving us and not leaving us to our devices. Thank you, Jesus, for this incredible show of power over death and the grave. It is you whom we will serve all the days of our lives, so help us God. Amen.
