Divine Assurances
Isaiah 7:7 (KJV)
Thus saith the Lord God, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass.
The background to this verse is about how God used the prophet Isaiah to go and speak to King Ahaz, King of Judah, who was being called to war against two formidable forces combined: the Kings of Syria and Israel. He simply delivers God’s message to him to not fear at all for none of their plans shall be profitable.
Are there forces against you? The LORD says It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass. Just believe this!
Here’s your prayer for Today
Abba Father,
We honour you for another day. We honour you for your word that you have sent our way this day. Today, we stand on your word and with faith to declare that no formidable forces facing us shall overcome us. The Lord is our banner and our shield. He has promised us that no plans of our enemies shall stand, neither shall it come to pass. We will not fear what anyone may do to us, for God is on our side. Thank you, Lord, for your promise and your Word. We are going out today without fear of the foe. Thank you once again in Jesus’ name, Amen.
