My glory will not be for another!
Isaiah 48: 10-11
See, I have refined you, though not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction. For my own sake, for my own sake, I do this. How can I let myself be defamed? I will not yield my glory to another.
To the one reading this post today, there are some trials and tests that you may have faced and questioned, “why me?”
These may have been challenges or puzzles that were tests of your obedience to the Lord. It was the Lord’s way of refining you on your journey through the world. But ultimately it was all to manifest the glory of God in our lives.
You may not understand why you. But do get this; He does it for His own sake, for He will never give His glory to another.
Let this be your prayer
Lord I pray that I will stay obedient to you so that your glory will be made manifest in my life in Jesus name Amen.
