Times of Refreshing
Acts 3:19 (NIV)
Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.
The lord Jesus Christ, by His sacrifice on the cross, gave all of humanity the chance to receive redemption from the cords of sin. Because of what Jesus did, we can have freedom, and God forgives every kind of sin.
Our verse for today invites you to give yourself the opportunity to be free. When you read the preceding verses, that is Acts 3:1-8, you will get a better view of what the verse for today means.
So the question here is, are you willing to be free from the shackles of sin?

Our Father in Heaven
We thank you for the invitation to repent of our sins so we can get the opportunity to have our sins wiped out. Thank you also for the redemptive sacrifice that Christ made on Calvary for all humanity. As the chance for repentance has appeared, we repent of our sins and ask for your pardon through the sacrifice Jesus made for us. Today, we choose you and the free gift of life that you give. We also choose the times of refreshing that come from the Lord. Thank you for answering us in Jesus’ name, have we prayed, Amen
