Serve Him
John 12:26 (KJV)
If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour

Serving means following right? But lots of Christians today are just identifying with the tag ‘Christian’ without necessarily living it out. This means a person can call himself something without having an attachment to it.
That is not what the Lord asks of you and I. He says, “if you are serving me then it means you are also following my life, commands, teachings, miracles etc, so that wherever I am, you can join me there.” No servant can be with his master when he is not doing whatever tasks are assigned to him. The master will throw him out and judge him to be a disobedient and wicked servant. Will you be this kind of servant?
Jesus also states that God the Father Himself will honour that servant who serves Jesus. Who doesn’t want such? Being honoured by the Father should be the greatest desire of any genuine Christian. Therefore, serve, serve and serve with all the talents, skills and giftings that the Lord has endowed you with. Service to God can be inside the church or anywhere at all; there are no limits
Will you serve and receive the Father’s honour?
Here’s your prayer for Today:
Dear Father,
thank You for calling us to serve and follow You. Lord Jesus, give us the strength and courage to walk in Your footsteps, even when it’s difficult. We long for Your presence and the honor that comes from the Father. Help us to be true servants, reflecting Your love and obedience in all we do. Amen.
