The Lord’s Ways are different from mine
Isaiah 55:8-9
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Here’s your Prayer for Today
His ways are not
your ways.
His thoughts are
not your thoughts.
Lord God Almighty,
Your wisdom stretches beyond the stars,
and your thoughts soar way far above mine.
You see the end from the beginning,
while I often stumble in the middle.
I confess that I do not always understand your ways.
Sometimes your path feels unfamiliar,
and your timing feels slow to my anxious heart.
But today, I choose to trust—not in my own understanding,
but in your perfect plan.
As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are your ways higher than mine.
Teach me to rest in that truth.
Help me surrender my need for control
and embrace your divine perspective.
When I feel lost, remind me that you are leading.
When I feel confused, remind me that you are speaking.
When I feel weak, remind me that you are strong.
I yield my thoughts, my plans, and my heart to You.
Shape me, guide me, and lift me into your higher purpose.
