I am your God
Isaiah 41:10-11
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish.
They may rage,
but it will come to nothing
You see how shrill the whistle of a kettle sounds when it is hot and boiling? It stops as soon as it is turned off. At first, it will sound as if it is going to burst your eardrums but it never does. So it is with your enemies.
They will claw at you, rage, frustrate and disturb the life out of you. But, as long the Lord has promised to be with you, you have nothing to fear.
When the Lord promises, there is no place for fear.
Here’s Your Prayer for Today
Abba Father,
My God, who promises to strengthen and help me through all my troubles, I thank you for another day. Indeed, this is the day the Lord has made and I will gladly rejoice in Him. Thank you for telling me not to fear, for you are with me and for being my God. Thank you for your promise to strengthen and help me. Thank you, that my enemies may do all they want, but they can never harm me as long as you are there protecting me. All is well with me because you are with me. Thank you for your love in Jesus’ name, Amen.
